This year’s Summit will bring together global visionaries, regional and international industry leaders and political forces all in one place to discuss and debate the perspectives and practical implementations of the southern Mediterranean and West Asian interconnected power systems in the transition toward full sustainability.

After first ‘pioneering’ solar and wind projects such as in Morocco, Egypt and the UAE the broad energy transition has recently definitely shown a break-through in the entire region. The Desert Energy Leadership Summit, once a pioneer itself, has become THE leading event on the practical migration towards a fully emission free power supply in the regional and inter-regional context. ‘High level discussions’ about the emission free power markets of the future are important, but at the end what will determine success is the answer to ‘how do we get there’, step by step, safely and economically and with local benefits, taking proper account of the complex local environment. The Summit will, thus, focus on the experiences with concrete projects in the deserts, and the practical integration in the local and interconnected regional power grids and markets. A comprehensive power system approach adopting bankable RE and grid technologies and new elements, such as different types of storage and/or alternative transport media such as hydrogen or solar based desalination, will make the Summit an absolute ‘must’ for key professionals in the energy community and beyond.

The 19th Water, Energy, Technology, and Environment Exhibition (WETEX 2017), organised by Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), will take place on 23-25 October 2017 at the Dubai International Convention and Exhibition Centre (DICEC). WETEX will show the latest developments in conventional and renewable energy around the world, and feature business opportunities and potential partnerships to drive business.

WETEX 2017 is being held under the directives of HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, under the patronage of HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Minister of Finance of the UAE, and President of DEWA, and under the umbrella of Green Week.

META Projects is the only event to bring together over 500 government officials, off takers, developers, financiers and investors to discuss the latest market trends and opportunities for projects across the Middle East, Turkey & Africa.

It is a unique opportunity to hear from decision makers and obtain exclusive insights into the risks and returns involved in each project to better focus your business strategy for the short, medium and long-term.

We are pleased to announce that for the first time, the ISES Solar World Congress will be held together with the IEA Solar Heating and Cooling Programme's SHC2017 conference. One registration for two major solar energy conferences!
The joint event will be hosted by Masdar Institute of Science and Technology.

Driving the Global Energy Transformation

The World Future Energy Summit Conference, the platform for renewable energy and clean technology, engages private and public sectors in four days of networking, dialogue and knowledge exchange to solve the world's growing energy challenges. The conference offers a combination of in-depth breakfast briefings, panel discussions and expert talks, with senior-level members of governments and key business leaders at the heart of all interaction.
Our conferences are carefully researched and designed to pinpoint opportunities for growth and profitability, and provide attendees with access to the best thinking, best practices, and innovations in clean energy deployment.

Thanks to abundant oil and gas reserves, during the last decades, hydrocarbon utilization is the mainly power resource for many countries in Middle East and North Africa. However, as climate change has raised more and more serious concern, people in this region now are considering their future energy development strategy. One of the possibility could be solar power energy, especially Concentrating Solar Power.

Obviously, MENA region is showing its great potential to be another growth point for CSP development in next few years. To know more about the future project deployment strategy, to learn about CSP’s advantages in this region, to excavate more business opportunities, we warmly welcome you to join in our CSP Focus MENA 2017 event, (Sept. 13-14, Dubai) to keep you being informed with updated industry dynamics.

Saudi Arabia, one of the world’s biggest oil producers, is seeking up to $50bn of investment in solar and wind energy. The Kingdom has recently announced a tender for 700MW of wind and solar energy.

Following the much-appreciated trade missions in Egypt, Jordan and Pakistan, MESIA will bring the key players (Investors, Local/development and international commercial banks, Developers, EPCs, Panel manufacturers and others) to meet all key government and related stake-holders locally. During the 2 days conference, you will hear about the development of the National Renewable Energy Program (NREP) to implement 700MW of solar and wind projects. We will explain the different roles of the key bodies and stakeholders together with the leadership of the program as well as the timelines and milestones of the first round and others to follow. An important part will be dedicated to understanding the pricing and how cost efficiencies can be secured in the Kingdom. We will also be assessing some of the detail around developing projects in Saudi including some of the key legal, financial and technical aspects of the market.
