SEFE proudly took centre stage at the “Investing in Hydrogen” global summit in London in September, where our CSO Hamead Ahrary represented the company on a panel about the future of hydrogen and the energy transition. The highlight of the event came, when SEFE stood out among competition such as Shell, RWE, Engie, Principle Buyer, and Uniper and took home the prestigious IMPACT Energy Transition Organisation of the Year Award 2025.
Accepting the award on behalf of SEFE, Hamead said: “This recognition marks an important milestone on our journey from a traditional gas supplier to a company fully committed to helping its customers to decarbonise. Everything we do, every investment, every partnership, is shaped by their need for solutions that are not just green, but real, scalable, and secure.”
Why SEFE stands out
SEFE’s ambition is to drive the decarbonisation of the energy sector while strengthening our economy’s competitiveness and ensuring the security of supply, thereby delivering prosperity now and in the future.
We firmly believe that gas molecules will continue to play a role – but they must and will be decarbonised. And they will be complemented by renewable power and other solutions for reducing emissions.
SEFE offers decarbonisation solutions tailored to the specific needs of each customer – from carbon-neutral gases to renewable power, carbon capture and storage and carbon credits. With these innovative and flexible solutions at hand, SEFE helps municipal utilities, multinational companies in hard-to-abate sectors such as steel, cement or agriculture, and small or medium-sized enterprises to accelerate their transition to a low-carbon future.
