Africa Energy Forum
Africa Energy Forum
The Africa Energy Forum 2026 returns to Cape Town from 16–19 June 2026, bringing together Africa’s most influential energy, infrastructure, finance and industrial leaders under the theme Building Africa’s Industrialised Future. The forum connects governments, utilities, developers, investors, technology providers and industrial stakeholders to drive investment and delivery across the continent’s energy and infrastructure sectors.
As Africa’s energy markets evolve beyond access alone, aef 2026 will focus on the large-scale infrastructure required to support industrial growth – including transmission, baseload generation, regional power pools, critical minerals corridors, renewable energy, gas-to-power, and energy financing and trading. The programme brings together decision-makers shaping the next phase of Africa’s industrial and economic development.
Held at the Cape Town International Convention Centre 1 (CTICC 1), the four-day forum features high-level plenaries, private boardrooms, strategic networking, investment discussions and sector-focused sessions designed to move projects from ambition to execution.
